The outcomes of the 1st Asia-Europe Economic and Business Forum (AEEBF1)
According to a press release from the Ministry of Commerce, at the First Asia-Europe Economic and Business Forum (AEEBF1), Asia and Europe promoted globalization, global value chains and multilateralism, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly women empowerment and green businesses / investments, as the world shift into the new context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and adapts to a New Normal in context of COVID-19.
In addition, the First Asia-Europe Economic and Business Forum (AEEBF1) was held under the theme “Transitioning to a New Normal: Leveraging Global Value Chains, Multilateralism and the Industrial Revolution 4.0” conducted in the context of the spread of COVID-19 with the purpose of “Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth”.
It should be noted that this forum was held both physically and virtually on November 24, 2021, which is a major side event of the 13th ASEM Summit (ASEM13), hosted by Cambodia.
