The 8th Conference of three Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam
Ms. Kittisangahakbindit Khuon Sudary, 2nd vice president of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia delivered speech in The 8th Conference of three Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments under the theme of “Promoting Parliamentary Partnership for Sustainable Development and Responding to COVID-19 Crisis in CLV-DTA on 23 September 2021.
On behalf of the leadership of the Senate and the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Cambodian parliamentary delegation, the Cambodian people nationwide, Ms. Kittisangahakbindit’s expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved families in the three countries who have lost their love ones caused by COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, Cambodia also provided both financial and medical equipment assistance, including face masks to the government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
It should also be noted that in the context of promoting cooperation and economic connectivity between the three countries, it is necessary to have various mechanisms initiated by the parliament, the government and political parties to provide common benefits effectively and efficiently.
In a strong belief, the conference is concluded with a fruitful outcome in the best interests of the three neighboring peoples under the spirit of good neighborhood, traditional friendship, strong and enduring cooperation.
Ms. Kittisangahakbindit continued to encourage the parliaments of the three countries to speed up the implementation of their existing Action Plans, including Action Plan for CLV Economic Connectivity Until 2030 and Tourism Development Plan for CLV Development Triangle Area 2020-2022, and vision for 2030.
