On 27 December 2021, AVI team led by Dr. Chheng Kimlong, Vice President, received a delegation of the Embassy of Malaysia led by His Excellency Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Chheng Kimlong briefed the delegation about AVI, its role, mission and goal and its achievements. Furthermore, both sides have discussed about strengthening the collaboration between AVI and the Embassy, especially the possibility of working together toward a public forum during the Visit of His Excellency Saifuddin bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in January 2022. In contribution to knowledge sharing, His Excellency Ambassador expressed his strong will and willingness to participate and give a talk in AVI’s future public lectures/forums and also encouraged AVI to develop connections and cooperation with Malaysian Think Tanks.
